In her work as a K-12 education specialist over the past 25 years Elise has focused on developing schools as learning communities with collaborative operational culture and learner-centred working approaches. She has vast international experience in initiating pedagogy-driven design processes in school investment projects. She has a degree in education (M.A.), and in her Ph.D. studies she focused on educational leadership specializing in school safety and student wellbeing. Her passion is to create learning environments and innovation platforms that improve academic achievement and further the health and well-being of all members of the learning community. Elise’s robust hands-on experience on education within Finland and the GCC area has offered her a unique insight on how to create novel solutions by fusing the best practices from multiple education systems.
