Recent reports from The Times Commission and HMC have made bold claims that our current education systems are not fit for purpose. Rapid evolution in technology combined with the inertia of changing deep rooted education systems, have created a skills gap between what we learn in school, what employers are looking for, and the essential skills required to tackle some of the world’s most challenging and threatening problems. As the internet evolves, it creates more and more opportunities in education. As we move into a blockchain backed era, known as Web3, it presents the opportunity to harness this technology to help students take ownership of their skills and qualifications from education and beyond. In this talk I will discuss how we can build agile systems that adapt to an ever-changing world, using emerging technologies to better showcase student skills and talents.

Many students will struggle with learning at some point in their lifetime. Those who develop the tools to persevere despite feeling frustrated or discouraged, will likely experience academic success and are even more likely to succeed in endeavours outside of school. However, it's often difficult to provide that level of one-on-one support every day for every student, especially given the demands on teacher time and rigorous academic standards. Using AI-enabled tools can help reach more students each day, by providing highly personalised, social supportive tutoring for students in their classrooms. Further, the use of AI technology in the classroom can give students the opportunity to learn directly about key concepts that are vital to being competitive in the job market today.

The metaverse roadmap categorizes the metaverse into 4 types: augmented reality, lifelogging, mirror world, and virtual reality. An example of the application of augmented reality in medical education would be an augmented reality T-shirt that allows students to examine the inside of the human body as an anatomy lab. How can the metaverse be used for education? The metaverse allow educators to not only create a more immersive style of learning, but also model teaching best practices. What is the metaverse concept? Why is metaverse important to education? What are the metaverse platforms? What is the benefit of the metaverse? Will the metaverse benefit the eLearning industry? What can we do in metaverse? How do you experience metaverse? Is the metaverse the future of education? So it is very important to have a clear roadmap for Metaverse in Education in order to design the futures of the nations.

Although women are making great strides in tech globally, specifically in robotics, it has long been a challenge for educators to inspire girls to participate despite performing very well in robotics & coding programs. At the high school level, across NA the average number of girls enrolled in robotics programs or clubs is below 1%, a worrying number given how prevalent robotics & A.I. are becoming in the workplace. Both boys and girls engaged in STEM education at an early age provides them with a significant advantage in their schooling & creates a great foundation for their robotics career. This workshop will share effective steps to help you increase girls engagement in robotics & computer science programs. We've seen how high schools have increased girl enrollment from less than 1% to 25% - 45%. For every school that has 1000 girls, its probable that less than 10 are enrolled in robotics programs or clubs. These steps can help you increase girl enrollment to 250 - 450.

The events of the last few years have forced us to rethink the role of education technology in a rapidly changing world. The recent global crises underscored a fundamental truth about teaching and learning - that it is a communal activity best experienced together in person. In other words what lies at education’s core is human interaction. With this in mind, how do we develop a future paradigm for education technology that preserves this human social interaction, and what is the role of data, assessment and artificial intelligence in this revised plan? How should we redefine our students’ relationship to technology and what skills should we be teaching them, and teachers, to allow them to fully realise their social and emotional identities in a digital world? This presentation will give an overview of the conclusions we can draw from recent events, and provide some pointers for future students and future teachers.

The story begins with the newly formed Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust, Scotland's National Centre for Literature and Storytelling. The Trust invited 3 primary schools in South West Scotland to participate in an exciting storytelling project. The initiative was entitled ‘Our Enchanted Lands,’ a concept based on author J.M. Barrie and his creation of Peter Pan. On behalf of the Trust, I approached the schools and offered them the opportunity to have their storytelling work in class extend to podcasting. Using the easy-to-use online audio recording tool Soundtrap, young people aged 8-11 were able to bring their stories to life in a fun, collaborative way, using their own voices, exciting sound effects and music. This presentation will show the journey of the project, from inception to completion. I will highlight learning outcomes for the young people across 3 schools. We will see and hear examples of the pupils' work and demonstrate how the children created their story podcasts

Artificial Intelligence and globalization have been driving changes in how we live, what we do, how we interact with one another, and these trends have also been raising questions of what the international education systems should do to prepare children today to take on jobs that will emerge in the future, and to train teachers and school leaders to be ready for future technology trends. Hence, it is important to understand what kind of tasks, skills and human agencies are being replaced or enhanced by AI already within the education system. In this paper, we present a summary of AI applications in the UAE K12 public school sector by Alef Education against the backdrop of the UAE National Strategies for AI 2031 and the UNESCO 2021 summary of global applications of AI in education. Additionally, this paper highlights Alef Education proof-of-concept industry take-aways, some future roadmap additions and long-term implications of AI on human development in education.

School education is not only an important facet in our life to mold the future but to direct the world itself because the world belongs to our young generations hand. We offer a mode of education called 'Adhyapp' to deliver tomorrow's education today to assure that the children's are future ready. We are responsible for the knowledge transfer that we gained so far to the next generation. Limiting that process of this knowledge transfer in a way, and insisting the young logical brains to memorize the portion of chapters against the model exams will only end up with progress in scorecards instead of the factual knowledge gaining process. We focus on teaching 'how to learn instead of 'what to learn. We connect children's brains to teachers' with the help of logical neural mediator links to build solid individualistic attention and relationship to sense the thought process of our young brains.
