Director Counselling and Career Pathways, GEMS Modern Academy Dr. Mauli Mahajan is a Psychologist, Academician and a Career Coach with 18 years of experience in counselling, teaching, deputy to head in running postgraduate program in Entrepreneurship, deputy to head to an NGO, behavioral science, psychometric testing, career development and into writing of research articles. Possessing exceptional leadership skills with high deliverables and ethical conduct. She is a senior consultant to Government of Gujarat-INDIA and many renowned schools across Ahmedabad. She has developed Counselling Curriculum for Teachers and has successfully conducted the training at CHARUSAT University, INDIA and Saint Kabir School, India, where over 400 teachers have been trained. Her research on Comprehensive Career Guidance Program for schools and Leadership Styles on Employee Behavior has been published in national and international journals in India and in the US. In 2018 she was invited to present at National Career Development Association, (NCDA) USA on “Comprehensive Career Guidance Program from K to 12, for IB and International Curriculum School. In January, 2019 she was invited to present at Cannexus2019, Canada on “Career Program for Primary Schools” and at NCDA, USA in June 2019 on “Internship Programs for Schools”. She has been invited to present at the APCDA conference in March 2020 on the Comprehensive Career Programs for Schools.

A comprehensive career guidance program for Grades 1 to 12, with the purpose of providing students with various exploration and educational experiences. All the activities lead towards career selection and decision making, keeping in mind need of each grade, age and individual requirement of the students. Through collaborative effort by the career team, teachers, parents and community people, the program activities are designed, implemented, administered, followed by evaluation of activities to re-engineer the program annually. The program works around four major component : 1) Input through Curriculum, 2) Individual Planning, 3) Responsive Services and 4) Organizational Support (Gysbers, Stanley, Kosteck-Bunch, Magnuson & Starr 2011.).
