يزداد الإقبال على التعليم المنزلي مع اعتناق أولياء الأمور لهذا النهج وترويج المنظمات الموالية له على أنه يفضل بقية أنظمة التعليم. غير أن التعليم المنزلي قد يكون مجلبة لقدر كبير من التوتر، وإن كان من ناحية أخرى مجزياً. وهو لا يصلح لكل ولي أمر، وبالتالي يجدر بأولياء الأمور غير المهيئين أو غير الراغبين فيه أو غير المتأكدين من جهوزيتهم للالتزام بكونهم معلمين فعالين أن يفكروا ملياً بالتعليم المنزلي من جوانبه المتنوعة قبل الإقدام عليه.

Homeschooling is on the rise as parents embrace this approach and advocacy organizations are promoting it as a preference over other systems of schooling. Homeschooling can be very stressful, but it's also rewarding.
