Dr. Ahmed Alhazmi

Associate Professor

Arab Bureau of Education For Gulf States
Researcher, academic, and advanced facilitator of cultural intelligence (CQ). My research interests lie at the intersection of cultural studies, education and phenomenology, with a focus on the Arab context. I have published with well-known publishers (Springer, Taylor & Francis, Palgrave, Nature Research, SAGE and Wiley) and written in both English and Arabic for impact-factor journals. Recently, I have co-coined ‘the theory of multiple stupidities’, ‘the theory of retroactivism’, ‘the pedagogy of poverty’ and the ‘crowd-reflecting’. In addition to academic work, I have been engaged with the leadership of academia, e.g. working as a consultant for the Vice Presidency of Jazan University and as a chair and a member of various standing committees.
