Charlotte Dawson is an international educator, writer and speaker. She is passionate about developing Environmental Education in UAE schools and her decade of teaching experience informs this vision. Charlotte has an MBA in Educational Leadership from Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland and also a BEd in Primary Education from the University of Wolverhampton, U.K. She currently leads the Eco team at GEMS Metropole in Dubai, alongside establishing an environmental working party for educators. Previously, Charlotte has presented at events including the Middle East Teaching and Learning Conference, ICoME 2020 and also the Teaching, Community and Colleges conference in Hawaii – for which her co-authored submission received the Outstanding Paper award. In addition, she has also written articles for the TES and GESS on the topic of outdoor learning.
