Chaitanya has had a multi-faceted career in the Indian Film & CreativeArtsIndustry for over 17 years now. Most of it has been spent at Whistling WoodsInternational, India’s premier Film & Creative Arts institution. For the past 13years, he has been a part of the leadership team and currently serves as the VicePresident &Business Head of the institute as well as its Chief Technology Officer.Over the past decade, he has been working towards the mainstreaming of Film &Creative Arts education in India and, through the efforts of Whistling Woods andits university partner–TISS, has structured applied-arts undergraduate & post-graduate programs in Filmmaking, Acting, Music, AVGC, Media & Communication,and more... He also heads the institute’s efforts to evangelize its education byincorporating emerging technologies & platforms, through development labs setup in partnership with global technology giants. His efforts have led to the setupof the Sony Media Technology Centre, the YouTube Educator Lab, the RedEducation partnership, India’s first shoot-on-iPhone institutional partnership andthe Whistling Woods Jio VR Lab, all of which have undertaken strongdevelopment work in multiple emerging technologies and workflows. He is anactive speaker on multiple topics related to Film Education and the Film, Media &Entertainment industries at national & global forums.

By the time the current kindergarteners reach the job market, many jobs as we know them today may not exist and a study says over 75 percent of jobs will be newly invented. The world is changing and changing very fast. Making today’s children future ready demands a complete overhaul of the way they are educated. What was good a decade back has no relevance in the next decade.
