Priya is a highly experienced social worker and mental health practitioner with over 30 years' expertise across education, social care, and mental health. Since 2013, she has led safeguarding initiatives across the Middle East and Southeast Asia, supporting government, NGO strategies, and school communities. Priya is a school accreditation evaluator for the Council of International Schools (CIS) and partners with British Schools Middle East (BSME), International Task Force for Child Protection (ITFCP), Educare, Eduspark and Managebac; she is a Trustee for Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students (AEGIS). Her work includes delivering safeguarding training, developing wellbeing content for educational platforms, supervising school counsellors and safeguarding leads, and chairing international working groups. Deeply committed to child welfare, Priya firmly believes that children's wellbeing must remain central to all educational practices.
