Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yousef obtained his Ph.D. from the School of Mathematics, the University of Southampton, the UK. His main research area is sequential estimation- a vital part of mathematical statistics and biology. He established the Department of Basic Sciences at Middle East University MEU in Jordan and was the statistical consultation center manager. In February 2016, he established and coordinated the mathematics program at Kuwait College of Science and Technology KCST until September 2020. In 2023, he established the Mathematics and Basic Sciences Department at the University of Science and Technology in Kuwait.

 

He published several papers in sequential estimation and biomathematics related to HIV, breast cancer, Monoclonal Tumors, and Covid-19 in high-impact journals ranked in Q1 and Q2. 

Recently, he has been a faculty member and HoD at the University of Science and Technology in Kuwait, teaching mathematics, probability, and statistics to science and engineering students.
