Leadership stream

27 February 2020 | 11:00 - 11:30 | Collaborating Model United Nations and SDG's to Make an Impact

The presentation will be conducted as a team with my students presenting how Model UN has impacted their lives. They run the school MUN Club independently as part of student leadership developing skills that will help them to take on successful roles in professional life and life in general. Model UN has helped them to become more grounded and humble and they want to leave this legacy-making the school MUN Club self-sustaining creating leadership in their juniors so that the club runs independently by students. They will also present the importance of dialogue on sustainable development goals and how they are using the MUN platform in school to initiate projects and spread awareness about global goals. They will present student-led initiatives to impact community development. The school Model UN Motto being -" From MUN to the Real UN" our students run projects that have a global effect i.e think Global and Act Local.
