Poonam brings more than two decades of experience in the education sector to her role as CEO of Innoventures Education, having built the UAE’s preeminent pre-K-12 international private education company. Innoventures Education currently serves nearly 9,000 students from over 120 countries, taught by a dedicated team of educators and administrators from all corners of the globe. She leads a multicultural team of 1500 education leaders, teachers, and support staff, operating Dubai's most sought-after schools and nurseries that offer diverse curricula including International Baccalaureate, UK National Curriculum, American Common Core, BTEC, and Early Years Foundation System.

Innoventures Education owns and operates Dubai International Academy at Emirates Hill and Al Barsha, Collegiate International School, Raffles International School, Raffles World Academy, and Raffles Early Childhood Centres, which have earned a reputation for high-quality education, inspiring learning environments, and unwavering commitment to student excellence. Poonam is part of the leadership of the Education Business Group (EBG). She was also formerly the President of the Middle East IB Association and Secretary-General of the Dubai Private Schools Group. Poonam was recognized as one of the 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen in the Middle East by Forbes in 2023 and has been previously honoured as 'Education CEO of the Year' by Arabian Business.
