From Strategy to Students: Building an Innovation Culture That Works in the Real World
Session Summary:
At Misk Schools in Saudi Arabia, innovation is a function embedded across the school. As VP of Innovation, I’ve been tasked with aligning our internal strategy with AI and digital education priorities, while still delivering change that teachers, students, and parents can live with. This session will share how we’ve approached AI integration, digital literacy, and future-focused learning - not just through tools, but by shifting culture, building staff readiness, and linking it all back to wider strategic goals.
We’ll explore how to:
Translating strategy into school-level action
Balance AI and EdTech adoption with safeguarding and staff capacity
Build momentum in systems that aren’t built for fast change.
