New Dubai school campus set for September 2018 opening

ENBD REIT Limited, the Nasdaq Dubai-listed Shari’a compliant real estate investment trust, has announced that its South View School Dubai campus will be completed by September 2018.

The REIT, managed by Emirates NBD Asset Management, said in a statement that the school in Dubai's Remraam communit is on track to be completed by the beginning for the next academic year.

The school will be Interstar Education’s fifth Dubai campus and its second British curriculum school once completed.

“We are pleased to announce that the concrete has been poured for the entire foundation with the support columns for the next levels to be erected in the coming week. The project is currently meeting its delivery timeline for opening at the beginning of the next school year,” said Tim Rose, head of real estate at Emirates NBD Asset Management.

South View School will have the capacity to accommodate nearly 1,800 children at full capacity and will start from the FS1 level through to the 12th grade.

The school will be operated by Interstar Education, which currently runs Victory Heights Primary School in Dubai Sports City.

Amit Kothari, executive director of Interstar Education, said: "We are looking forward to the complete structure of the school being completed by the end of this year. This is an exciting time for Interstar Education and an important development for local community."

Interstar Education said it has provided schooling to 15,000 children across five campuses in the UAE and India.
