Ministry of Education launches e-Library for Research in UAE

The Ministry of Education launched its "e-Library for Research" for higher education establishments to serve scientific research efforts in the UAE.

Dr Ahmad Bin Abdulla Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education, said that the launch of the e-library is part of the ongoing efforts of the ministry to broaden the base of scientific research to comply with the vision of the UAE government.

Dr Al Falasi added that the Ministry of Education seeks to provide all sources of knowledge and scientific references for students, facilitating their access to them.

The e-library aims to store sources of information owned by the ministry on electronic media, which can then be remotely retrieved and delivered to researchers without them having to go to university libraries or other sources.
