Emirates Academy of Hospitality ranked among world’s top 10

The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM) has been named among the top ten best hospitality schools in the world by global education research firm Education.com.

EAHM is a part of UAE-based luxury hotel giant Jumeirah Group, a member of Dubai Holding.

The business management institution was ranked alongside nine elite hotel schools including Switzerland’s Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and the US’ Cornell University.

Judy Hou, managing director, EAHM, said the recognition is well-deserved.

“The academy encourages students to meet their full potential and help them develop the skills that underpin successful careers. In addition to pursuing challenging academic programmes, EAHM ensures students are exposed to extraordinary co-curricular activities that give them fresh insights into current best practices, whilst also developing their soft skills and cultural understanding to become true global citizens,” she said.

The new ranking marks EAHM as the leading hospitality school in the Gulf and MENA region. In its 15 existing years, it produced over 600 graduates, many of whom who have gone onto work for premier companies such as Jumeirah Group, Ernest & Young and Louvre Hotel Group.

The school is a provider of university-level hospitality business education and offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It works in academic association with Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. Its programmes are fully accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE, the Institute of Hospitality in the UK and THE-ICE (International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education) in Australia. It is also a higher education member of the Council of International Schools (CIS).
