Dr. Meriem Hammal, affectionately known as the "Bee Fairy Lady," is a dedicated veterinarian, professional beekeeper specialized in royal jelly and queen breeding , She serves as the President of the North Africa Youth Beekeeping Commission and is a valued member of the Honey Quality Commission for Apimondia Africa. With certifications as a trainer and educator from the European Union, Dr. Hammal leads workshops and educational beekeeping school programs focused on the crucial role of bees in maintaining ecosystems and ensuring food security. Her expertise and passion drive her to raise awareness about the importance of bees in pollination, and mental health making her a vital advocate for environmental conservation and agricultural sustainability.

In addition to her professional work, Dr. Hammal is deeply committed to community development. She actively leads training programs for women in rural areas and youth, empowering them with skills in beekeeping and sustainable agriculture. By providing these communities with the tools and knowledge needed to engage in beekeeping, she helps create new economic opportunities while fostering a greater sense of environmental stewardship.
