Clare Rawlings
Founder - Raw Movement
Clare Rawlings is a visionary movement educator and founder of Raw Movement, a global organisation redefining physical wellbeing in education, starting with educators. With over two decades of experience in movement science and workplace health and wellbeing, Clare is leading a global shift: from reactive physical health models to proactive, movement-centric cultures in schools and organisations, and the design of tailored, evidence-informed physical wellbeing solutions for diverse workplace environments.
Her work is grounded in a simple but radical idea: understanding how we move and how to maintain great physical wellbeing as a foundational life skill taught within schools and organistions. In a world where technology shapes our lives more than ever—offering convenience, speed, and automation—we’re quietly trading away one of the most vital aspects of the human condition: essential, everyday movement. From swipe culture to smart everything, our bodies are being sidelined in favour of convenience, leaving us physically disengaged and increasingly disconnected from the very systems that keep us alive.
At GESS Dubai 2025, Clare brings her expertise to the global stage, sharing insights from her work across the UK, Hong Kong, and the Middle East. Her interventions are data-informed, culturally sensitive, and designed to meet the real-world needs of educators—especially those navigating burnout, physical pain, and systemic gaps in physical wellbeing support for educators.
