Romeo Ramirez

Romeo Ramirez is the Senior Director, International Partnerships at ISTE+ASCD, the largest innovation-focused education non-profit worldwide, serving over a million educators in every USA state and over 100 countries around the world. At ISTE+ASCD, Romeo leads international strategy, collaborations with global organisations and educational projects across different regions, engaging with educators and institutions that seek to improve student learning experiences and outcomes.

Romeo has worked in education since 2009, from lecturer at three universities in Mexico, to leading international strategy and business development for education and edtech companies such as Pearson Education (2010-2017), Renaissance Learning (2018-2020), Twig Education/Imagine Learning (2020-2022) and 3P Learning (2022-2024).

He has managed successful projects to implement digital learning resources and teacher training through ministries of education, school networks and strategic partners in four continents. Having witnessed technology enhance teaching and learning experiences for years, Romeo is a firm believer in education as the key for the development of better individuals, communities and countries.
