Kausor Amin-Ali

Kausor is an award-winning educational influencer (GESS 2022) as Founder of 'All Children Read' a global not-for-profit organisation dedicated to eradicating childhood illiteracy. He is also an award-winning Principal and early in his career as a Teacher in England.

He qualified as a teacher from the University of Cambridge and has more than twenty years of experience, with more than fifteen in school leadership. Set against the challenge of a highly competitive sector, he has skillfully established a culture of collaboration, underpinned with moral purpose, earning the respect amongst peers in the UAE community of schools and beyond. He has extensive experience in the region and has been Principal of three schools in the UAE and Head of School in two. He is also a Chair of Governors of an Infant School in England.

A lifelong learner, he leads by example and was the first school leader in the UAE to obtain the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership (NPQEL) and has tech educator certificates in Apple, Microsoft and Google. He is a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching and the Royal Society of Arts.

He is also a successful author, with three books published (A-Z of School Leadership, A-Z of Teaching and A-Z of Learning) and he authored the chapter: Education in the UAE as part of Bloomsbury's Education in the Arab World series back in 2017. As a thought leader, he has had more than a dozen articles published in TES magazine (formerly known).
