Lauren Noble

Founder & Creative Director - Collab Company

lauren

Lauren Noble is a South African theatre-trained director, designer, writer and performing arts practitioner with a degree in arts education and over a decade experience in the creative classrooms of Durban, Dubai and Riyadh. As the founder and creative director of her own Dubai-based performing arts organization, Collab Company, Lauren now uses her diverse skill set to produce unique performing arts experiences that consciously blur the boundaries.

The fully fledged concept for Collab Company took hold of her imagination during a school holiday as she sat preparing resources for her next academic year. A vocal advocate for a more comprehensive use of the stage as a space which consciously harnesses artistic and educational potential, Lauren has evolved her own holistic pedagogy into a performing arts organization which is unrestricted by the limitations of any individual artist or art form.

Lauren Noble and her evolutionary ensemble collaborate to create and curate original, adapted and revised work within a strong ethical framework and 21st century methodology. Participants of all ages and levels of experience are integral to the mission of advancing the arts by embracing the characteristics which have defined multiple journeys across the creative spectrum. Disrupting. Empowering. Imagining. Questioning. Discovering. Exploring. Revisiting. Teaching. Learning. Collaborating.
