Andaleeb Ishteyaq is the Head, Inclusion and Pastoral Care at JSS Private School, Dubai. His passion and specialization relate to working with Students of Determination and Gifted and Talented students. Some of his other key areas of interest are Career Counselling, Well-being, Staff Mentoring, Mindfulness, Improvisation, and Creativity. He has participated as SME, Head of Section (Lead Teacher) to review National Professional Standards for the UAE Education and Private Sectors organised by MOE and NQC. Andaleeb has been conferred the prestigious  Global Teacher Award 2019 as part of recognizing excellent teachers from all regions and communities of the world. Received an appreciation letter from Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Director General, KHDA, as part of the entry to the Futurenauts Initiative entitled Story of Tomorrow. In an educational career of 19 years, he has had the opportunity to play many roles e.g. Senior Academic Coordinator; KHDA Compliance Coordinator; Editor of INCLUVISION magazine, Head of Innovation Committee, and Editor of JSS PS Almanac. He has been a regular speaker on many platforms including MENA Inclusion and Wellbeing 23, Building Bridges Forum 22, and Amity University Dubai.

The Schools of Tomorrow In a world deluged by irrelevant information, clarity is power Imagine you woke up tomorrow to a world of wonders, a world completely different and unthinkable from what we know it to be today, far from all our imaginations. And then suddenly you realise that, that tomorrow is not too far away from us, as the pace at which things are taking shape it’s not too far-fetched to see this scenario unfolding before our eyes. Now let’s take a breath and try to imagine, how would the schools of that world look like, what kinds of learning would be shaping the minds and hearts of the students in those schools. To get an inkling of the things to come let’s join Mr. Andaleeb Ishteyaq from JSS Private School, Dubai for an exciting talk wherein he would be deliberating on some of the most profound changes that are going to be the part of that world of tomorrow and how we as educators need to get ready if we are to remain relevant for that world.
